Refund policy

SECTION 1 - ORDERING

It is the customer's responsibility to check their order confirmation and flag any discrepancies within 24 hours of receipt. If nothing is communicated within this time, Maison Muir will assume the account holder is happy with the order.

Maison Muir cannot be held responsible for anything received on the order confirmation that is later flagged as incorrect.

SECTION 2 - CANCELLATION

Once an order confirmation is received, the customer has 24 hours to notify Maison Muir of any cancellations, discrepancies and changes, otherwise orders will be deemed confirmed.

SECTION 3 - PAYMENT TERMS & SHIPPING

Orders will only be despatched once payment has been received in full. No orders will be processed if a customer does not adhere to our terms.

Maison Muir will make every effort to ensure delivery by the estimated lead time, but this cannot be guaranteed.

SECTION 4 - RECEIPT OF GOODS

Due to the nature of antiques irregularities are likely to exist and are not considered defects.

If any major fault or discrepancy is discovered, please notify us within 24 hours of receiving the goods. Any claims made after this time will not be accepted.

Any claim for goods dispatched by us and not delivered must be made within three days of the date of the expected delivery date, otherwise no liability can be accepted by Maison Muir

SECTION 5 - RETURN OF GOODS

Domestic: All items may be returned to Maison Muir within 14 days after delivery. International: All items may be returned to Maison Muir within 21 days after delivery.

The customer shall be responsible for the cost of shipping the returned goods and must ensure goods are carefully packaged to avoid damage in transit. 

Refunds will not be issued until the returned stock has been received and inspected.

Maison Muir will not accept any return of goods damaged by the customer.

All items discounted, purchased on sale or using a promotional code are final sale and cannot be returned.

Due to the unique nature of our antiques and vintage pieces, all antique and vintage items are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund unless damaged in transit.  If an item arrive damaged, customers must notify Maison Muir within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographs of the dame and packaging.

TO RETURN YOUR PURCHASE, PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS:

To return an item(s) please email us at info@maisonmuir.com stating that you would like to return your purchase. You will also need to include:

  • your order number
  • the item(s) you would like to return
  • the reason for your return

We will then issue you with a returns note which must be included with your returning item(s). 

A refund is based on the amount you paid for the item, excluding the delivery costs.
